This week, I loved how our VP1 ended up coming together. Our team really bonded, we had a great time pitching, and everyone was willing to contribute all the way until the end.
I learned a lot from leading the group through VP1, and I was shocked at how well I knew the ins and outs of a venture project from all of my practice leading up to this. I was able to answer every question people came to me with, and my team members generally seemed happy with my explanations,. It was great to teach others and help them grow! All of this practice and familiarization with the process will certainly help me have a better VP2.
Moving forward, I need to more concretely define what I want my venture to be beyond simply ‘technology consulting.’ I am already following up on some personal leads and am excited to continue working through this!

Adam,
Thank you for sharing! I’m really glad you had a good VP1 experience and were able to bond with your team.
As for moving forward maybe having a coaching session with Meg or one of the fellows could help you solidify your idea.

Glad to hear your VP1 went well! I also thought it was really great to be able to teach the new E1s how the class works so they can get a better understanding if this minor is for them.
