Well, VP1 is over and I am officially starting into my VP2. As an E4, I feel a bit worried about focusing in on the right thing, but so far I have an enjoyable idea and have put in the work to prep a plan of action and get started on interviews.
I have learned this week SWOT and PESTLE’s role in identifying a venture’s role in its market as well as the wider world. We used both of these models in VP1 which was a useful warmup as well.
Overall, I am looking forward to what next week brings for my VP2.

Adam,
Thanks for sharing!
Try not to worry too much about focusing on the right things. Your E4 quarter is about exploring your passions and turning it into a profession. I have pivoted a lot since my E4 quarter, don’t be afraid to pivot or event start all over.

That is great you are enjoying your VP2 work as an E4. If you are feeling worried about staying focused on your idea while you are planning it out at the same time, I am sure it will go great. Feeling a little worried is normal for everyone!

As an over-planner, I definitely feel your pain in wanting to focus on the right thing. It is great that you’ve been able to focus some of that into your plan of action!
I’m an E1, but from what I’ve seen so far this course is about finding your passions, embracing the times when things don’t go to plan, and pivoting while learning from them.
Best of luck with your venture. I’m really excited to see what you come up with!
