The Collab – E2 & E3 Venture Project 2

The Collab was a fundraiser where college students came to purchase locally made art, listen to live music, and socialize. Using surveys, interviews, and research, we found our GAP; having opportunities available for small businesses and local musicians to grow and create relationships with the Bellingham community. Because of the nature of our event, we had multiple customers: our attendees, the vendors, the musicians, and our beneficiaries.
In our and our customer’s efforts, we raised $576 for our beneficiaries Lydia Place and WWU’s E&I Student Scholarships. Gaining traction, we progressed by teaming up and donating half our proceedings to an amazing organization called Lydia Place; helping families in need or at risk of homelessness. We wanted to find a local charity to donate our proceedings to because this event’s purpose is to bring the community together.
