Traction Journal #3 – “VP1 Success!”

wow what a roller coaster VP1 was, very impressed with the outcome and my contribution to the project but it was certainly a roller coaster for sure.

  • How did it go?
    • With your team
      • Things went okay with my team… I was very stressed out being my first time leading a venture project. but I think I did a good job of delegating tasks and making sure everybody was contributing to the project. However we had 2 people drop the project so it made some aspects of the project rough.
    • With the evidence-based entrepreneurship skills
      • unfortunatley we were lacking in the evidence department, which is the most important part of the project and I felt and about it. however I did instill the importance of evidence based entrepreneurship in this class.
    • With discovering a new brand opportunity?
      • I think we really found a gap to fill, and that was Pelmeni’s missing social media presence and adding merchandise to their business model.

What have you learned about yourself?

i’m much more skilled than I give myself credit for.

From this learning, what will you carry forward into Venture Project Two?

I need to be more proactive in making sure I know what needs to be done when.
