SCHOLARSHIPS MADE BY ARTISTS FOR ARTISTS

Welcome to Western’s Art Drop Mini Blog!

The Art Drop Mini is a project run by art students at Western Washington University to raise money for art scholarships, as well as to get Bellingham excited about art!  On campus and in some establishments throughout Bellingham (details coming soon) students place machines full of small pieces of art by artists throughout the community.  For $1 worth of quarters, anyone can acquire a randomized piece of art, such as stickers, pins, and more, created from local artists’ original pieces.

If you are an art enthusiast, a trinket collector, love trying your luck, or, especially, you want to support Western art students and cultivate a more creative local community, consider finding an Art Drop Mini machine and buying yourself some art.

Locations for the machines are pending and will be posted soon. Thanks for the support!
