In this this speech which I listened to in my other class, COMM 101. I watched a student give a speech on Inner City life and how the government don’t help fund these schools. Within his speech he gave a lot of raw emotion. What was very compelling about the speech this speech was that it was a 5 to 6-minute speech, which helped a lot because if the speech were to be a little longer it would be bad in a way that students would see it was boring. A short speech for this kind of theme is a perfect amount of time to bring awareness to the cause. In the speech this student wanted to give us, his audience an impulse on what can be done. Helping the inner cities by donating to Inner-City Foundation for Charity & Education is a great way to help. Inner cities are not a priority for the state government, so this national charity was created for people to donate and help these youth kids out.
