The undergraduate summer research award aims to raise opportunities in Behavioral Neuroscience research for individuals who are typically underrepresented in the field. This includes students underrepresented in the field, including individuals with disabilities, first generation college students, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups.
Undergraduate students will be selected for their demonstrated interest in behavioral neuroscience research, enthusiasm for a graduate degree or health professional program, and financial need.
Dr. David Goldman and Dr. Linda Blackwell Summer Research Award – $6,000
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate students who apply must demonstrate financial need by having submitted the current year’s FAFSA or WAFSA
- Be a current BNS major
- Involved with a BNS faculty member’s (PI) research lab
- Must also enroll in classes the fall quarter after summer (not graduate spring quarter prior to summer or during summer quarter)
