Western Kids Camp / Global Connections Camp
Each summer, Western Washington University’s Extended Education Program hosts summer camps for children, including the Western Kids Camp and Global Connections Camp.
Rec Center Youth Passes
Members may use the Student Recreation Center with their dependents who are under 18 years of age during scheduled family hours only. The fee for a dependent to enter the facility with a parent or guardian member is $3 per entry per child 12 years of age and under and $4.50 per entry per child 12-17 years of age. Children who are under the age of 14 must participate in all activities under the direct supervision of their parent/guardian. The weight room and cardio area is off limits to dependents under the age of 14*. Members may bring in their dependents plus two non-dependent children.
*Youth dependents ages 14-17 may complete a building orientation and cardio room instruction certification course and then can participate in activities without direct supervision by their parent or guardian, but the parent or guardian must be in the facility at all times. The lower weight room is off limits to participants under 18.
Family hours: Fridays 5-10 p.m., Saturdays/Sundays, summer quarter, intersessions and holidays.
