About

Eric Grossman
Research Geologist, U.S. Geological Survey
Research Associate, Western Washington University

I am a federal employee at the U.S. Geological Survey and the Pacific Coastal and Marine Science Center in Santa Cruz, California.

I lead two interdisciplinary projects for the USGS that are integrated with WWU engaging students and faculty with federal, state and local partners. My research aims to advance understanding of coastal responses to biophysical processes and to inform decision makers of coastal change hazards and impacts to property, infrastructure and ecosystems that people depend upon (see Research).
