After being able to survey 120 people it can be said that the research that was conducted shows trends of Comic Sans and a general dislike. Most people ranged between neutral and positive when asked about Arial and Times New Roman, but Comic Sans got a lot more of a negative response. This negative response can also be seen in the comments people left at the bottom of the survey including things like, “comic sans is a meme used to torture a generation haunted by school” and “Please don’t use it ever thanks”. These are clear markers that people don’t like the font. This is all backed up by the research done by experts on both children and adults. When children were surveyed it became very clear that children really like the Comic Sans font, including asking for their textbooks to be written in the font. When adults were interviewed about different text styles Comic Sans came in last for every category. With researchers stating that participants said Comic Sans was the least professional font of the eight fonts that they were surveying.
