We created a Google Forms Survey to gather our data. This allowed our results to be clear, conclusive, and easy to understand. Sidney is active on social media and posted the survey to her followers.. In addition, we distributed the survey through the English 101 classes to get perspective and raw opinion from Western college students on Comic Sans. Sidney’s followers who have participated in the survey are mainly late teenagers, in high school and college. Our survey yielded desired demographic results, since we wanted to focus mainly on high school and college students’ perspectives on our topic. Thus, the use of Sidney’s social media distribution of the survey yielded these results as well as distribution through the WWU English department. When sending out this survey, we opened Pandora’s Box to the explosive perspectives of high school and college students on an especially opinionated and controversial topic.
