The Co-Op Project

Engaging with the History of a Community

Culmination

Later in the academic quarter, scheduling interviews became more difficult and time constraints started creeping in.

By this time, notions of problem setting, writing stewardship, and textual coordination, core concepts of Eng402, worked their way into our group discussions, which further redefined and complicated the progression of our project. With the end of our involvement rapidly approaching, we decided it would be best to prepare our material for future groups rather than create an insubstantial product out of desperation. Our scattered notes, masses of shorthand, and vague statements from class discussions would only cause the successor group to flounder for weeks before getting a sense of everything.

We focused our efforts on constructing a document for the inheritors of this project which will give them a foundation for navigating this project, so they may learn from our mistakes and developments. All of this we had already created over the course of our engagement with the Co-Op. It was just a matter of collecting and writing it all down for the next group.
