Jon Blethen

From food conspiracies to nettle potlucks, Jon Blethen’s involvement with the Co-Op began when it was merely an idea in the works. As one of the initial members of the board, Jon helped set up the structure of the Co-Op, laying the foundation for it to survive the next fifty years. The impact of the counterculture movement, an essential force in the Co-Op, brought with it a great deal of change for the Fairhaven and Bellingham area. Jon Blethen details these events in this oral history of his experiences.
