Join the Western Gallery, Institute for Critical Disability Studies, and Disability Access Center this Thursday, February 6 from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM in the Western Gallery (Fine Arts Building 124) and on Zoom for Disability Existence, Resistance, Community and Care in 2025, a panel discussion in which students, faculty, and staff will discuss their experiences with disability in their lives and work with a focus on how they have worked to carve out space for community and visibility in places where disabled people and voices are implicitly or explicitly excluded. We will focus on steps to take or opportunities for action, as panelists and attendees talk about what work they’re doing, identify current needs or gaps in terms of support, and brainstorm possibilities.
