General WTA bus information
Whatcom Transit Authority (WTA) buses are wheelchair accessible and can also accommodate single-seat two-wheeled bicycles secured to a front rack. Strollers and collapsible bicycles must be able to be folded to fit beneath or between the seats in order to be brought on board. Access the full WTA website here.
Fare information
Bus fare is collected per ride segment and costs $1.00, or $0.50 for seniors, veterans, and riders with disabilities with identification or reduced fare card. An unlimited-ride local day pass can be purchased on board for $3.00 cash, or $6 for a Skagit-Whatcom day pass. Exact change is needed for bus fares: Bus operators are not able to provide change.
Downtown Bellingham Bus Station
The Downtown Bellingham Bus Station at 205 E Magnolia St. (Stop ID 2001) has a passenger lobby and public restrooms. Saturday hours are for these facilities is from 8:30 am – 7:00 pm. The bus platform also has an information kiosk.
On Saturdays, the Downtown Station to WWU corridor is served by routes 14, 190, and 105 (both ways), as well as 196 and 107 (to WWU), and 108 (from WWU). Frequency of service between Downtown and WWU is typically every 15 minutes between the hours of 8:30 and 10:30 pm.

Bus Routes Heading to WWU from Downtown
Buses leave for WWU from the Bellingham bus station Bay 5, marked in blue at the South end of the terminal, as well as the adjacent Bay 4. Any bus leaving from Bay 5 or 4 will proceed directly to WWU. Buses depart every 15 minutes at :10, :25, :40, and :55 after the hour between 8:10 am and 10:40 pm. Expect bus transit times of 5 to 7 minutes. Disembark at the WWU Perfoforming Arts Center (PAC) stop on High Street near the Viking Union (VU) building.
The North entrance to Carver Gymnasium is about 0.1 miles southeast of the bus stop after crossing High Street (GPS coordinates 48.736387,-122.486189).
Bus Routes heading to the Bellingham Downtown Station and After-Party from WWU
Bus Routes Leaving From High Street at WWU Haggard Hall (Stop ID 3077) to the Downtown Bus Station. The Downtown Station is on Railroad Ave, directly across the street from the Ruckus Room Arcade (1423 Railroad Ave), the location for the UnConference after-party. Buses depart WWU from High Street and Oak for the Downtown Bellingham bus station at :08, :13, :28, :43, and :58 after the hour between 8:28 am and 6:44 pm. Between 6:53 pm and 10:53 pm, buses depart every 15 minutes at :08, :23, :38, and :53 after the hour. Expect transit times of 5 to 7 minutes.
Bus Routes Heading to WWU from Four Points by Sheraton
Buses leave for WWU from Lincoln Street (Stop ID 3294). Buses depart every half hour to hour until 10:30 pm. Expect bus transit times of approximately 20 minutes. Disembark at WWU Haggard Hall (Stop ID 3077), a covered stop on High Street.
The North entrance to Carver Gymnasium is less than 500 feet southeast of the bus stop (GPS coordinates 48.736387,-122.486189).
