Disability Justice Collaborative
Meet with fellow activist, advocates, scholars, and radicals to learn about the principles of Disability Justice and how they can be applied in daily life. We will split our time between reading work by Disability Justice leaders and sharing our own experiences as disabled people.
We will explore Disability Justice principles including,
- Cross-disability solidarity
- Collective access
- Anti-capitalist politic
- Recognizing wholeness
This group is intentionally created by and for disabled people. Nondisabled allies are welcome to participate.

Disability Pedagogy Group
Meet with your fellow disabled teachers, student support staff, and allies to talk about teaching and disability in a supportive, exploratory environment. This is a discussion group to share ideas and offer support. It is not a skills workshop. It’s a community.
We will explore topics including,
- Teaching while disabled
- Supporting disabled students
- Teaching about disability
- Advising and mentoring
- Teaching and learning scholarship
This group is made for and by disabled people and is open to all staff and faculty from any institution, including student teachers and TAs. Nondisabled allies are welcome to participate.
