Reserves discussion
3 sections of the reserve:
- Ear Marked: 1 time large expenses
- Equipment: inventory of equipment replacement schedule
- Support: unexpected expenses
Discussion of S&A revenue:
- 10% of total S&A allocation remaining in each constituencies funds at the start of the year while all other revenue is swept into reserves.
- This doesn’t account for revenue accumulated by ticket sales
- Minimum wage rising, debate over whether to plan ahead for rising wages or get help from the reserve.
January 1, 2017 minimum wage rose to $11.00 January 1, 2018 minimum wage will rise to $11.50 January 1, 2019 minimum wage will rise to $12.00 January 1, 2020 minimum wage will rise to $13.50
