DRAC Minutes 10/17/18

Introductions: Each representative introduced themselves to each other.

Orientation power point presentation about what DRAC is and responsibilities of the committee.

Officer Position Descriptions: Defined the positions.
Christopher Bianco motioned to nominate Alex Miles as secretary of DRAC. Carolyn Nielsen second the motion. Discussion. All voted in favor.

Christopher Bianco requested that we search for another chair for the DRAC Committee. Discussion that Carolyn was interested but had 5 faculty out of her office and “underwater” in work. Travis Cram was interested but not sure he should take it on in his first year as faculty. He was interested in being groomed as Vice-Chair. Discussion tabled till next meeting.

Next meeting is October 24, 2018.
Main goal is to establish leadership of committee. Assigning student representatives to S&A. Complete nominations of Officer positions.
