For the anticipation project I took sounds from my day to day life to represent the anticipation that is subtle. I liked the idea of representing how my own anticipation sounds before big things such as this trip.

Mack!! What a beautiful soundscape!! I was so impressed by the fact that you captured the sound of a heart beating (with anticipation?). Also, the transition between the different sounds you included were so smooth. It almost felt as though I was on a journey (or a soundwalk through a day in your life). There’s so many little things that we’ll probably miss when we get to Italy (for instance, dryers) but it will be so cool to create a new normal, even if it is only for a month! 🙂
Mack, well done. Good sound quality and varity. How did you get the heart beat, was it a found sound? I’m not quite sure, but does it an with a plane? Really good choices. It builds, growing more intense, like anticipation.
