(I am sniffling. The airplane video orientation plays, starts skipping. The door won’t open. There are pigeons in Florence! There are so many stairs in my life now.)
Do you hear the words repeating in your head? Rouge, Rouge, Rouge, Orange, Orange, Push. Repetition is like a magic trick. What does your subconscious make appear?
I do not feel the greatest. Maybe it is a little cold, maybe it is a little allergies, but I am not entirely lucid. On arrival I dragged myself and my luggage up never ending flights of stairs. Then I fought with the door until it allowed my entry. At least there are pigeons in Florence!
I love the repetition in this! This audio is exactly how it felt trying to be awake while dragging all the luggage into our apartment and then finally being able to enjoy the view while still having that exhaustion in the back of my mind. Good job!
That is so cool to use the audio as a mind trick into thinking it’s different words. I think this fits the prompt of lagging because you are disoriented, at least I know I was, and hearing you fidget with the door trying to get it open is a representation of that stress.
This is such a great representation of how my first impression of Florence went, we had so many mundane things to deal with and it all kept getting more and more intense and overwhelming, distracting me from all of the cool things going on around.
