Four after hours I wanted to create a dreamscape setting. The idea is you get home and immediately crash on the couch layer of sound adds a deeper stage of sleep. I used sounds that to me- bring calmness and rest. Birds, my friends, and an otherworldy sound take you one step outside of reality.
Sound description-
Keys open a door. There is a rustling of fabric. A slow fade in of a space like tune, birds join in. Later, there are the sounds of voices. An alarm gradually enters before it is over.
Love the musical ambience in your piece, the bird sounds are layered in very nicely. I think adding the alarm sound was a great touch to communicate you’re waking up from a dream.
Charlie, I think this soundscape is a perfect reflection of who you are as a person, which means that it is utterly incredible!! On one hand, there is the bright, bubbly, magical side of the soundscape that comes through thanks to the otherworldly melody you added and the squeals of boars in the background, but there is also a more serious, focused, and observant side to the track thanks to the sound of birds, as well as the overall concept of the piece. I have never met another person like you and I’m so happy I got to spend this trip getting to know you so that I can understand your art on a deeper level. Incredible work as always!! 🙂
