Our key concept is the representation of love and sexual relationships in US Latinx literature. As we read through the novels in class, we noticed the recurring theme of romantic love and its different forms. Each member of the group found a specific focus in their novel when it came down to how true romantic love is portrayed and why. We were able to compare the differences between sexual relationships and loving relationships.

We decided to use a blog format symbolically. Love is a profound but basic idea within all culture. Humans are obsessed with love. We make art symbolizing it, we post our thoughts and ideas on social media lamenting or exclaiming our love fixations. Blogs are often used to record people’s lives, and posts about love are far from uncommon. We decided to speak on the topic of love, familial and romantic, and decided to use the format that is currently “in”.
