At first this research project seemed very daunting, it seemed as it it would take a great deal of effort and persistence to complete. Once me and Elijah completed making the survey questions and formating the survey itself we began conducting it, which I thought would be a long and boring task involving a lot of awkward interactions with strangers. However the interviews began to go very quickly and people walking around campus were happy to complete them; some participants even went to give the survey to their friends. Within a few days I had several responses that I had gathered in person as well as online where me and Elijah posted a link to our survey on multiple platforms which instantly made our number of responses soar. One thing I found necessary when conducting in person surveys it trying to keep the survey completely anonymous made subjects answer it very honestly, our survey doesn’t really invade privacy at all but it does ask questions about how much you exercise and how good your grads are; and nobody really wants to say they are lazy or that they have bad grades. Thus far our project is going great considering all previously said, the data is quite conclusive and the high number of participants can back that up. While interviewing some if my friends I can see that there is definitely a correlation between those who exercise frequently and how they feel they want to study more when they do exercise, a fair amount of them tell me how helps them clear their head and studying can be made more enjoyable because of that. My next steps for the research project will be to continue gathering data than to go in depth and start studying all of our finding to find a true conclusion so we can make a argument using our data.
