For my last extension project I went back to the project that started it all, my literary narrative. I took the first project my literary narrative and made it to another medium, a podcast with a twist. I made the podcast so it was like it was like it was actually recorded and happening. Instead of describing what happened I created a script out of my literacy narrative and acted the story out with voices. This was actually a super fun project to do because it was really fun to find creative things to make something unique out of my essay for instance I start the podcast in present day so “Thank you Next” is playing in the background then after I have a sound effect play we go back to 2007 and the song “He said She said” is playing. It was also fun to try to think about how other point of views would tell this story for instance if it was told from Ms. Fleanor’s perspective or even Brimmer’s perspective. One of the things I learned from doing this project is there is a lot more ways than we realize to tell a story. We can tell a story through words, sound, dance, art, acting, the list goes on and on. Because there is so many different ways to tell a story you can usually find a way to tell a story that will appeal to any person. Hopefully I will get more opportunities to explore different medias.
This is SO AWESOME!! What a creative outlook on your literacy narrative. This is truly an amazing project.
Great job!!
