During our research we have been seeing a lot of diversity between our responses and not been able to witness a trend in our research quit yet. Responses to our survey have been slow but we are persistent and continue to gather more and more people each day giving us a consistent flow of responders to our survey. It is interesting and very unique to view people’s personal prompts and see how they react to the change in the atmosphere around them and how it comes to effect their writing. Even tho we’re not seeing an overall correlation between all of our subjects we are able to see a difference in writing within individual subjects.
Overall we feel like the project is going well and is on track, it is possible we might be a day or two behind because we still have not reached out desired amount of individuals taking our survey. We have decided to begin sending our survey out to more people through social media and other forms of communication like text and email, our hope is that this will help us reach more people then we have been previously and therefore increasing the overall frequency and amount of responses we receive. We are hoping by Wednesday of this week (11/7) to have reached our minimum quota of 30 individuals so we can finally see whether there is a correlation or not. Until then we will continue to compile and analyze each individual’s responses, in hopes of speeding up the process and bringing our project back on track in time for the final presentation.

Your choice to use social media is a wise one. We tend to forget how easily we can reach other people with only a few clicks. Like I told Gunner, don’t feel too worried about being behind. As long as you don’t grow complacent and slow down on finding people, you should be fine.
