Gyorgy Ligeti himself arranged six of the eleven
movements from his innovative solo piano work
Musica Ricercata for the instrumentation
of Woodwind Quintet. The six movements have
become a staple in the WW Quintet repertoire.
Fifth Inversion is now in collaboration with
talented composer Adam Billings to arrange
and record the remaining movements and
bring this extraordinary work to completion.
