Our research has taught us that people who have a more open personality tend to like fantasy and thriller/horror and people who have a more agreeable personality trait tend to like comedy, mystery, and drama. The top Three series that we also found were the harry potter series, the umbrella academy, and the game of thrones series. The combination of the Meyers Briggs personality test and the big five gave use are personality traits advocate mediator, and protagonist who is part of “diplomat stage and Agreeableness, openness, and conscientiousness. Looking through the data, we came to see the people who are a more open personality like horror and other intense media and the other side of the coin conscientiousness tend to like romantic literature. In the future, if we get the opportunity, we will broaden our survey to be more about how genre impacts our decisions in life.
