About Dr. Grimm
Dr. Jeffrey Grimm grew up on Bainbridge Island, near Seattle. He attended Whitman College, earning a B.A. degree in Biology and minored in Chemistry and Psychology (1991). He then earned his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Experimental Psychology from Washington State University (1995, 1999). Prior to arriving to WWU in Fall 2001, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). He is a Professor of Psychology at WWU and Director of the WWU Behavioral Neuroscience program for Fall 2021- Summer 2025.
