This is an amazing website for parents as it describes the differences between a healthy and an unhealthy relationship and when parents should start having the conversation with their child. This website also provides resources for parents of children who might be part of the LGBTQ community. Altogether, these resources help parents find the best way to discuss this topic with their child in an unpressured way. I would send parents a news letter with this source attached, letting them know that we are discussing this in class, allowing them a chance to talk to their child about the topic, but giving them the information they might need to feel comfortable to approach their child about it.
