The Coastal Communities and Ecology Lab is led by Dr. Marco Hatch, a Samish Indian Nation member, and Associate Professor at Western Washington University. We work hard to build an inclusive research community for undergraduate and graduate students. Our lab is focused on the intertidal ecology of the Salish Sea, collaborative research, and working with Indigenous communities.
