Hypertension Prezi

Presented by: Calvin Gurtler, Madison Page, Savannah Woodward, Tyler Amaya, Donna Wilson, & Van Trieu.

Imagine you are in the year 2025, 1.56 billion people worldwide will be facing hypertension. In America today, one third of the population has hypertension, while another third has pre-hypertension.
Keeping that in mind, middle-aged, working adults, such as yourselves, can avoid being victims of hypertension by learning about the disease and how it can be prevented. In short, hypertension occurs when one has abnormally high blood pressure, which can be pictured as an excessive amount of blood cells pushing against the walls of your arteries.
There are no physical symptoms or signs of someone who has hypertension, therefore regular blood pressure check ups are a critical part of early prevention. Another important prevention step you can take is maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle.
All in all, our goal is to help educate and prevent hypertension in busy adults.

  1. Very well done Prezi! I liked the formatting you did, and the road template worked well with your information, especially the exercise slide. I also learned a lot about hypertension, I was unaware of just how prevalent it is!

  2. I really liked all of the different flips and turns that the prezi took! It made the entire thing very interactive and interesting! I also thought it was nice how you described the various types of exercise an individual should get to prevent hypertension, because I think a lot of people don’t know what counts and what doesn’t!

  3. This Prezi was fun to follow and I enjoyed the slow turn of each slide. The Get Real Facts were pleasant and feel as though I can be fully prepared to prevent hypertension. I’ll continue to eat, exercise, and sleep regularly. The highway layout was brilliant and I felt as though the road to success was clear, especially in the hot air balloon ending.

  4. I really liked the template that your group chose. The road template went well with the progressions of how to prevent hypertension and ending in the sky, very creative!

  5. I very much liked the way in which you guys used the road as the background. It flows well with your ideas behind exercise and hypertension prevention. Also, the different ways the panels flip, turn, and rotate make the prezi exciting and helps draw in your audience and allows them to better engage with the various facts, suggestions, and beliefs surrounding hypertension. Very good job.

  6. Leverage wow gold to quickly boost your in-game riches, allowing you to acquire elusive items, upgrade your gear, and assert your dominance in battles. Gold holds significant importance in online games as it accelerates your character’s progress.
