There are many lifestyle choices that can greatly influence an individuals risk of developing cancer. It is a type of cell mutation that will hinder approximately 39% of men and women at some time in their lifetime, in the United States. This prezi, aimed toward corporate office workers, will touch on how every choice from making good eating, and exercising habits, to being pro-active about protection from different carcinogens can greatly decrease the likelihood of falling victim to cancer.
I really enjoyed your Prezi! It was very informative and I liked that you guys went over a variety of cancers instead of just focusing on one. The Prezi itself was nicely organized and it flowed very well. I didn’t know about some of the facts about cancer and the causes so I thought the information was very well rounded. Good job!
Wow, boy did i really enjoy this Prezi. Unfortunately cancer now a days is so prevalent that nearly everyone has been affected by it some how. I think you guys may of had one of the more difficult topics for a Prezi simply because of all the information there is and all the types of cancer there is. i think you guys handled it flawlessly and the information was presented very well. One of the better Prezis out there, well done!
Thank you for your kind comments!
I loved the setup. The fact that it was a worksite really fit for the audience. The details of cigarettes and construction men was a nice touch. I really appreciated that they stated quitting smoking at ANY age can decrease your risk as that can really catch someone’s eye. It covered so many different types of applicable cancers with prevention- I learned a lot!
The layout and movement of the prezi really made use of the technology all the while giving the information in an accurate fashion.
I didn’t realize all the other materials asbestos could be found in. I really liked that you gave an overview of a few different types of cancer. Colorectal is one you don’t hear about as often so it was cool you included that!
I really liked how you broke down each area of defense against cancer. Especially explaining what asbestos are and how to protect yourself against them. I didn’t know that 2 out of 3 skin cancers appear on the head or neck (lips, ears, neck). That makes sense though since men (or women) working outside usually only have those areas exposed. Exercise and eating healthy seem like the most effective preventative measures when it comes to illness and disease. You’d think we’d have figured that out by now 🙂 Also, I’ve always wondered what Mesothelioma was (because of all the lawyer commercials that used to be on TV advertising to people who have mesothelioma). Now I know that it’s a cancer that attacks the lungs and abdomen. Great work on this Prezi. I really liked your design and all the information you were able to provide.
This is great! I can definitely see your target population and that is really impressive and helpfuk

Great prezi! very engaging, and it flowed well. There was a lot of information presented in a few slides, maybe break those apart and have less information in each. All-in-all great job! -Tim
Well done on the prezi! I stand with Erica in appreciating the “quit smoking at any age can decrease your risk”. One of my family members who developed lung cancer after a lifetime of smoking, was stubborn enough to smoke literally just a few days before he died.
That is sad to hear, thank you for sharing your story!
