Helping children to understand chronic diseases can be challenging. In order to help elementary school aged children learn about strokes, we have created this animated video. If children better understand strokes, they can help save teachers, grandparents, and more by being able to recognize that something is wrong and get help promptly. If blood flow can be restored to the brain within three hours of the onset of symptoms, permanent brain damage can be avoided1. The sooner a child can respond, the more they can help.

This was really informative. Thinking from a child’s perspective, I think that it might be a little wordy and not super fun. Having a background music or a character I think would help. The information was really good though. Nice job!
