Title: Germs Make Me Sick!
Author: Melvin Berger
Publication Date: 1985
Publisher: HarperCollins
This book is the best choice for teaching kindergarten sex education because it uses age appropriate language as well as situations. The way in which the author describes germs and how they are spread would be applicable for children in early elementary school. For being non-fiction, this story is informative but also easy to read.
I could integrate this in the classroom by reading it aloud to the students. I could then ask them to tell me what they learned through verbal words, a written response, or a drawing.
