Dental Health for Kindergarten: Fiction Book

How Many Teeth? (Let’s-Read-and-Find-Out Science 1)

Paul Showers, True Kelley, Harper Collins Publisher, Revised edition (March 15, 1991)

The book talks about how we grow from a baby to a child, focusing on our teeth and how our food has changed as teeth grow. I am sure many children do not remember when they were baby, even include me, so it is nice to discuss about developmental steps by age. I like the way how the book shows the food has changed based on how many teeth we acquired.

Core Integration: Math

Children could count how many teeth they have looking at their own teeth on a mirror. Then, they will color the teeth on the worksheet. The worksheet has too much information for kindergarten children, but we could just focusing on the picture, coloring, and counting.
