Description: This is a really informative book for kids all about concussions and how they are a traumatic brain injury. It has great images for students to look at in order to learn about concussions. It is full of great facts to teach students about concussions, how they are caused, symptoms, and what it is like to have a concussion.
Technology Integration: Students will read this book in small groups. They will learn about brain injuries through the book. Then they will look up a person who has had a traumatic brain injury. They will use technology to make a presentation to present to their classmates about traumatic brain injuries, the person that they researched as a group, and what caused that persons brain injury. They will use PowerPoint, Prezi, or Google Slides to create their presentation. Each group will be given about 5 minutes to present their information to the class.
