Brief Description:

The application of interactive media about road safety. The 2 characters demonstrate different situations in children day to day life such as being a passenger in the car, riding a bike and crossing the road, etc. This application aims to help parents and teachers in teaching children about road safety at anywhere and anytime. With the quality animation and fun story, it should attract children to play and eventually absorb the well manners for the road safety. It aim to increase an exposure of the road safety in a ubiquitous manners.

Core Integration:

The Road Safety App is something that could be used in a geography and writing class. Students are often asked to map out different areas that they are studying or where they have been. After working with this app, students could then do a follow up assignment of mapping out a proper safe route of travel on their own personal map. This is something that students could also post around the school and use it to demonstrate how their knowledge is important not only to them, but to the school as a whole.
