Popular Film: Frozen. Produced by Walt Disney Pictures in 2013. It is 102 minutes long and rated PG.

-Description: This film follows a pair of princesses after their parents passed away. The older of the sisters has magical abilities to create snow and ice, and the younger has a thirst for life after being locked away in a castle. The film follows the younger sister’s journey to find love, as she makes new friends along the way, and realizes love can be more than romantic.

-Review: Frozen has a variety of songs, and one called “Fixer Upper” addresses hygiene briefly. One line in particular says “And though we know he washes well, he always ends up sort of smelly.” Giving the concept that scent is natural for the human body, but washing is also a necessity. Continuing on with this, I would have students do a writing activity about things that might make someone smell without them being unclean.   (With strong guidelines, to avoid alienating students who may struggle with these issues)
