    • CK-12: Eyes
    • This website is designed to educate students on the structure of the eye. IT has a quick introduction then goes into the eye as an organ with some pictures to show the structure of the eye then rounds the page up with a video at the end.
      • I would send my students the link to this page then once they have worked through all the information I would ask them to write out and answer the review questions. Then, for extra credit, work through the “Explore more” section.
  • Core Integration:
    • Once I introduce the eye as an organ I would have students evaluate situations and conditions that would hurt the eye and/or specific structures within the eyeball.
      • As a follow up to all the information my students have just received I would have them explore and answer the following questions:
  1. Name 3 ways that one could practice poor health with your eyes.
  2. Name the structure of the eye that would get damaged to extreme sun exposure.
  3. DO research and find 5 ways to improve your eyesight with dies of physical exercises.
