Title: 7 Reasons to be Smoke-Free
Producer: Kids Health
Length: 1 minutes and 38 seconds
Rating: Not listed but the video is produced by kids health which produces content for children of all ages to learn about health subjects.
Description/Integration:
The video is super short which I like for the attention span of children at the younger ages. But while it is super short it provides a ton of good content for the children. The video gives students 7 reasons why students should not smoke including how it causes cancer, it’s expensive and it makes you worse at sports. Showing these kids this video should reinforce reasons for them to never take up smoking. I would also plan to have the students write out of a couple reasons not to smoke using sentence stems that I have created. Having students write out a couple sentences about why they should not smoke should help them solidify what they have learned from the lesson and the video that we watched.
