- This will be a great resource for students to go on when they need to find more information on a topic. When they go on it is like the original youtube but this is for kids. Which is way more safe for the students and the teacher knows that they won’t run into anything dangerous or inappropriate. It will give content that is at their age level to help the students get the information in their heads. While watching videos on a topic like internet safety they will learn at their age level and they will understand it. It will give students more of a visual of what was being taught in class just to give them a different learning experience.

Core Integration:
This interactive app would work wonders when doing further research on a Social Studies assignment. Should the students be given a research assignment on a country of their choosing, YouTube Kids would be a child friendly, very informative and safe resource for students to be able to work with, and study from. After the teacher introduces the country research assignment, they can walk through what a productive study time on YouTube Kids would look like once each student chooses their country.
As a follow up, students can each hop on to their own computers or tablets, and search YouTube Kids for information on the country of their choosing, looking for key topics like the arts, famous people, famous landscapes or landmarks. This app will provide a very effective and safe option for children to learn from, and teachers to teach from.
