They contain warm-ups, reflections, how to apply the information in daily life and it has lesson slides attached. It has things from teaching students how to find credible websites to chatting safely online and a lot more. This website includes links to many other websites that contain different lesson plans that you can print out, videos, handouts, quizzes and take-home resources with family activities and tips.
- Core Integration:
- This would be the perfect website to use if you want to use resources that are already made, saving you up a lot of time. There are also some quick activities that you can use if there is not enough time in your day for a full lesson. As teachers, there is only a limited amount of time you have class with your students, there is so much information important to teach them so the quick activity can be a good choice when needed. At the end of the online lesson, the main goals and objectives of each lesson are there. Each lesson has a different topic that you can use for another day, all being related. All the information provided in the websites can be useful to teach, especially how there are quizzes that you can then give to your students to make sure that they understood what they learned in each lesson. All the quizzes also have answer keys to make it easier to double check everyone’s answers. There are many suggestions in each website that teach you how to apply each lesson into a core topic within the classroom. These lessons allow teachers to give their students opportunities to think critically and actually understand the importance of being safe when it comes to social media. They get to use their knowledge to answer different handouts, either online or offline. Students get to learn how to balance their online and offline lives along with many other things useful for their safety.
