This movie will be played at the end of the day on Friday. Before the movie begins, I will ask the students to pay special attention to the different forms of physical activity taking place during the film (jumping, running, dancing, horseback riding, snow hiking, rock climbing, sliding, skating and lifting heavy weights).  Halfway through the movie, we will take a brain break and discuss the different forms of physical activity that we have seen take place. For the 2nd half of the movie, I will ask students to continue identifying different ways the characters are being physically active, but to also identify different physical characteristics of the community in which the characters of the movie reside in. At the end of the movie, we will discuss all of the physical activity we viewed throughout the movie, and compile a list of physical characteristics present as well. Students will then be asked to draw a map of the area surrounding their home complete with physical characteristics as well as identify activities which would be supported by this environment.
