Just a reminder that effective on your June 25, 2018 paycheck, all tenured and tenure track faculty who are normally on a 9-month academic year appointment (including department chairs), as well as all non-tenure track faculty who are benefits eligible, will have their health care premiums and optional life insurance premiums (if applicable) pre-collected prior to summer quarter.
Premiums will be pre-collected regardless whether you are working during the summer. If you do not plan on returning in the Fall, please notify your department right away so that a Personnel Action Form can be submitted to HR and Benefits can determine if you will be eligible for benefits over the summer. If it’s determined that you are not eligible for benefits over the summer, premiums will not be pre-collected.
