- Overall, how was this quarter for you?
This quarter was substantially better than anticipated. For the first time in a long time, I actually enjoyed my classes. I cultivated friendships; I broadened my network. I’m still pretty lost in my direction in life, BUT I think I’m on the right path. There were some low points, but I think the spring sunshine, people, support systems, and love made it bearable.
2. How did you develop as an entrepreneur through out the quarter?
Honestly, one of my biggest takeaways is understanding the importance of movement. Movement in some direction is better than staying static. There have been recent periods where I’ve been stuck in an unmoving state, and it’s not a great feeling. I am going to apply this to as many aspects of my life as I can. The encouragement of failure in this class was extremely refreshing.
3. What are you hoping to carry forward from this quarter?
I’m hoping to carry forward the drive. Everyone in this class had some sort of spark. Being surrounded in an atmosphere with buzz is special. You can’t find that just anywhere.
4. What are you hoping to leave behind from this quarter?
I want to leave behind my hesitance to be bold. Not that I’m not bold, but I want to shoot every shot I can take, because there is legitimately nothing to lose and everything to gain (there are limitations to this statement depending on interpretations fo sho, haha).
5. What was your highlight from E&I this Spring?
Honestly, 100% the people. Especially my VP2 group. I had no idea what to expect from our group, but we ended up having a blast. Our group just roasted each other and joked around for like 60% of our meetups, haha. Super fun… not super productive, lol. They’re awesome and made me genuinely look forward to working on the project though. Shoutout Paul and Areli!
6. SUMMER:
This year has been a wild ride. Time is moving at an exponential rate, yet at the same time….not? Personally, I think Bellingham is most beautiful during the summer. The thing I’m looking forward to the most is exploring the deep Chuckanut trails. This summer, my roots are a lot deeper compared to last year. I have more friends, know more people, know more places. This class has honestly been wonderful. Haven’t felt this love from a class environment in awhile. There is a high probability I’ll stay in this class, BUT it is tentative. Thank you readers for your uplifting comments and feedback. I know everyone does it for a grade, but I do read every single one and take them to heart. HAVE A GREAT SUMMER PEEPS! Y’all are awesome, and I appreciate you.
