Study Canada K-12, along with the Salish Sea Institute, the Border Policy Research Institute and the Center for Canadian-American Studies, is housed in Canada House, a heritage building at Western Washington University.
Our unique position at the heart of the Salish Sea, in close proximity to an international border crossing, affords us special opportunities for cross-border collaborations to enrich teaching and scholarship. Canada House supports developing courses with regional and international content, connecting Western faculty and students with a network of scholars at institutions of higher education on the Salish Sea, and providing opportunities to convene interdisciplinary conversations at Western Washington University about the past and future of our region.
