My name is Kate, and I’m a student at Fairhaven College, which is tucked in the lovely northwest corner of Washington. I’m interested in a whole lot of things, including sustainable food systems (check out the Outback Farm1 on campus!), social theory, and printmaking.
This year I had the great joy of receiving the Adventure Learning Grant2, which will allow me to spend the next three quarters traveling, living, and learning. I’m expecting to stumble and fall a LOT (literally and figuratively), and I’m also expecting to be absolutely delighted by the people and places I share time with. I suppose this is where I will be recording some of my stumblings, fears, joys, delights, and such for the next number of months. Feels a little weird to just put all that out here on the internet, but we’ll give it a go.
Thanks for sharing this with me.
