Hello Reader!

If you didn’t know my family and I took a Christmas New Years vacation to the land of our ancestors, the Philippine Islands.

It was quite an adventurous experience: jumping off waterfalls, swimming with fishies, swimming with whale sharks, almost dying in a storm (twice), getting sick, bargaining for “name brand” items, eating (oh…so much eating…), getting our flight cancelled (TWICE! Yeah, never take United Airlines…).

And through all the ups and downs of this vacation, I am grateful for the experience God has given me and my family to witness. It was a wonderful end to our 2017 and a surprising beginning to 2018.
