Valentines: “The Day for Love”

Just because I LOVE RAMEN!

Hello Reader!

“Have you ever been in love?

The question that was posed to me this week…and so I thought it would be an appropriate topic especially the “special day” coming up.

***SIDE NOTE: MOM & DAD DON’T GET THE WRONG IDEA***

So have I ever been in love? Relationship wise…No, I haven’t been in love.

I always thought that love was just the feeling where you felt like you were floating (or something) and you can’t get your significant other off your mind or you ALWAYS want to be with them. “That warm, happy, fuzzy feeling” (Thanks Maddie for your input). Until I realized something… Yeah I have been in love. Here’s some things I’ve been in love with: my parents, my sister, my friends, ice cream, soccer, photography, nature, learning, and SO MUCH MORE!

Love isn’t always presented in hearts & flowers..

So to my single “lonely” people out there, love isn’t just about being with that one “special” person. Believe it or not, you’re probably already in love, you just can’t see it. It can be in the form of sayings:

“Text me when you get home safely” or “This reminded me of you.”

It can come in forms of actions:

Spending hours on the field/court practicing your sport or wanting to eat your favorite meal everyday because you just can’t get enough of it.

Love presents itself in so many forms, it surrounds us, and let’s all admit (whatever form it presents itself to you) it’s THE BEST feeling in the world when you have it. So tell your friends you love them, tell your parents you love them, tell your siblings you love them, spread the love! Don’t let Valentines be the only special day for love, everyday should be spent with love!

Also to my single people out there don’t rush into love, let it come to you. Be like me, I’m just chillin’ waiting for my future husband with our private jet plane so we can travel the world (I’m totally kidding…kinda…hey a girl can dream can’t she).

With LOTS-OF-LOVE,

Kate
