Current Research

Research in the Human Cognition and Neural Dynamics Lab investigates questions broadly related to perception and sensory~motor integration. Using measures of brain activity (Electroencephalography) and probes of cortical excitability (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) we conduct research related to two overarching questions.

  1. How is the motor system organized and integrated with perception to allow for adaptive behavior.
  2. How are faces processed and what influence does race and age have on that processing.
